Stephenson Ceramics
Artist Retreat
Stephenson Ceramics will be offering artist retreats to the community starting June 1, 2022. I feel most at home when I am either teaching those eager to learn or creating my own unique works of art.
My studio is located at the base of the Big Horn Mountains accessible to hiking, camping, fishing, etc. This will all be right at your disposal as well as Yellowstone National Park a mere 168 miles (three short hours drive in our wide open spaces) from my studio if that intrigues you as well.
Class Options
4-Day Clay Workshop
The workshop fee of $425 will secure your spot for this workshop. There will only be 6 spots available.

During this class I will demonstrate throwing pieces from mugs to sectional pieces. The first two days will consist of individual instruction from 9-11 A.M. The remaining time will be free time to work on your chosen art. I will be available for extra instruction, if needed.
*Fee includes 50 pounds of clay (more will be available for purchase if needed, at .60 per pound), as well as, my personal ceramic tools for your daily use. Please feel free to bring your own favorite tools to use.
*We will begin class at 9 A.M. ending at 5 P.M., with a mid-day break.
* Participants will have studio access 24 hours a day during the 4 day workshop.

*You will need to provide your own box/es to carry your art home.
7-Day Clay Workshop
This workshop fee of $675 will secure your spot for this workshop. There will only be 6 spots available.

Lodging
There are several great options for your stay in Ten Sleep.

- The first option being my home. My home sleeps up to 6 people with a full kitchen, one bathroom, a reading/ game room area, as well as a living area with TV. Free WIFI is provided during your stay. Viewing will be available via Air BNB soon.
-The Carter Inn Motel is a short walk from the studio.
- 25 minute drive to Worland offers several hotel options.
- For those who want to spend time in the mountains camping as an option, there is scenic 20-30 minute drive in the breathtaking Big Horn National Forest. Reservations are required.
